Last month I went to wind up mom's home. As soon as I opened her cupboard, I saw your uniform hanging there. Held on to its sleeve a had a good cry.
It's done, mom's home is packed up for good. Dad, mom and you are together and I'm left all alone.

The Festival Of Coorg was held at the IIC last evening. Here's a glimpse.
I'm wearing my saree in the Coorg style with the pleats gathered at the back instead of the front. Picture 3 is of a typical Kodava neckpiece called a jowmale. The tiger claw broach belonged to my grandmother. by @ikaveri

Last evening the Kodavas in Delhi gathered to celebrate Kailpodh. So good to catch up with the clan from all walks of life getting together as one. The life of the party is always auntie Jani, the youngest one at heart. Thank you @ashaandthammu for the efforts you put in. It's not an easy job! So good to finally meet you, @yourinstalawyer 💕

Off for the MSI and here are the mandatory pictures in the car.
The saree this time is something I bought around 2006, very fine hand embroidered sozni on a sunshine yellow chinon.
The zardozi clutch on my lap (see the last picture for a closer look) was a reunion gift from the 50th Parachute Brigade many years ago. Can you spot the paratrooper floating down in the center? by @ikaveri

Just a family dinner at a nearby microbrewery. Tried hard to learn (for the hundredth time in my life) how to blow smoke rings under the expert tutelage of the nephew but failed miserably. But wait and watch, I'm going to turn into an ace at it and blow heart shaped smoke rings. by @ikaveri
