I thought it would be some straightforward historical story, but to my surprise, I enjoyed it way more than I'd expected😬😅
The ancient setting, royal conflicts, political tension...all these created an interesting atmosphere, while the characters gave the story its needed emotional weight 🤌
I particularly liked how leadership and difficult choices...played an important role throughout the book🤞

The story also did a great job of bringing together action, strategy and personal struggles without making any one element feel completely overwhelming👌💯
The historical details add depth...and ofcourse the pacing...kept me interested throughout the story🙌

It was an immersive and enjoyable read and anyone who likes historical fiction with kingdoms, warfare and political drama...will enjoy it through and through!!

Manaswi is easily the character who'd stay with anyone after the book is over, not because she has been written rebellious simply for the sake of being rebellious, but because her defiance was made to come from wanting ownership over her own life🤞

That which made her interesting was that she hasn't been presented as someone who had everything figured out.
She could be impulsive, outspoken and stubborn but beneath all of that was a young woman who was trying to understand what she actually wanted before allowing everyone else to decide it for her🤌🤞

Her journey was bigger than escaping an arranged marriage.
It became the journey towards self definition🤌

I also liked that Niel didn't exist merely to “fix” or complete her.
Their relationship gave both the characters enough room to change without asking either to surrender their individuality.
That honestly made Manaswi's eventual emotional growth, all the more satisfying🥹🎀

I found the reunion scene between Khyati and her father genuinely touching.
It was perhaps one of the most emotionally sincere moments in the book!
The relief, gratitude and desperation, all came together beautifully in a sequence that was cinematic.
However, what elevated the story in true terms, was that the author didn't allow us readers to remain comfortable for long🤞
The warmth of that reunion quickly got overshadowed by corruption and fear and yes ... personal conflict too.
That emotional contrast gave the narrative the needed depth💯
This book is a reminder that real life rarely provides any clean or satisfying endings and that realism made the story really effective.

The intention of this book, makes it worth time and understanding.
In a relatively short space, Mr. Manish Mohan Upadhyay has managed to touch upon issues that influence every aspect of everyone's life...from hunger and inequality to education, addiction, relationships and governance🤞
I especially liked that the book didn't simply point out problems. Every chapter has been written to make an attempt on moving towards solutions to encourage us readers to become participants rather than mere passive observers🙌
(The proposed ideas may definitely spark debate but they also give hope which is something many books on social issues often miss on!)
The conversational language sure was engaging and the bilingual presentation ensured that the message remained inclusive.
(A wonderful gesture of the author around building connection with his readers instead of winning arguments🙇‍♀️👏)

This book doesn't present animals as some distant subjects to be studied, rather, it transforms them into fascinating neighbours with extraordinary abilities, complex behaviours and full of stories worth discovering.
From the very first pages, my daughter was so excited to understand that the animal kingdom was far more intricate, intelligent and surprising than she realized.
Every section offered to her a new revelation, which actually turned her curiosity into genuine fascination!!

Seeing my daughter read it with all interest and inclusion, I think what impressed me most was that the book actually made learning feel like an adventure. She narrated to me each fact, observation and insight that, I'm definite, acted as a doorway into a larger world that goes unnoticed in our everyday lives😃🤞
My little girl appreciated the countless forms of life that exist alongside us with just too many questions put to me and her father and ofcourse, a lot of youtube videos that followed her reading!!

For I was next in line, reading this book, I would love to admire the way it presented information in a clear and engaging manner without oversimplifying it.
It's definitely one of those books that can spark excitement in an entire family, encouraging discussions👌

I'd also love to add that beyond its educational value, the book also carries an important reminder...that understanding the natural world begins with paying attention to it.
It asks for observing, questioning and appreciating animal life and fosters a mindset of curiosity.
In an age where screens have dominated attention, this book will definitely redirect that attention toward the wonders that already exist around us (for it did that to my daughter, super beautifully)🌹

The best thing I admire most in a psychological thriller is when it refuses to offer easy answers, and "Psycho Path" served to my liking just very well👌
Rather than presenting evil as something obvious or predictable, the novel, from start till end, actually challenged my perception of guilt, innocence, choice and circumstance.
It is really the kind of story that does unsettle you before you even realize how deeply you've become invested🤞

Prerna Wadhawan's style and ability to blend psychological tension with issues that define the world we live in today, has my heart really🫶🙌
The commentary on bullying, social conditioning, social media validation and the desperate pursuit of acceptance, never for once, felt forced, instead, these themes did become an inseparable part of the whole narrative, and believe me, this made every twist, disturbingly believable🙃

The psychological duel between Dr. Niya Kapoor and Robin Hood was no doubt, an awesome craft. Their conversations were not merely exchanges of information, but, battles of intellect, ideology and emotional control🤞
Every interaction carried an tension that kept me questioning about who actually was leading😅 (kiddish, but yes😬)
Dialogue, this layered and compelling, is a rare thing to read in today's time 🙌

What also deserves, separate appreciation, is that instead of depending on excessive violence or shock value, the suspense is made to grow through carefully placed revelations, shifting perspectives and also the slow dismantling of certainty👌👏
This is what is called, exceptionally awesome writing!!

For a debut novel, this is remarkably assured storytelling👏
Ms. Prerna Wadhawan has demonstrated not only a strong understanding of psychological fiction but also the confidence to explore uncomfortable questions without simplifying them🤞
"Psycho Path" is an utterly intelligent, immersive, and definitely, a thought provoking read that also proves that psychological thrillers can be as emotionally resonant as they are suspenseful🙌🙇‍♀️

Some books carry the power to challenge the foundation of everything we've always assumey to be normal.

"Am I A Dalit" is definitely, by all means, exactly that kind of book. It is not some novel that seeks sympathy for its characters, instead, it asks the one who reads it something difficult...an honest introspection🤞
The author has superbly transformed a very political and historically complex issue into an intensely personal story and this ability has all my admiration🙇‍♀️👏
Rather than presenting caste as an abstract social problem, Mr. Vijhay Sundar K.G. has revealed how prejudice finds its way into homes, relationships, memories and even the identities people build for themselves.
The emotional weight of the novel is not in it's dramatic speeches but...in the ordinary moments where humanity has been shown to force confrontation around inherited beliefs!!

Vikash's journey gives 10000 thoughts to think on because it isn't written as the story of a flawless saviour. His transformation showed up gradually, shaped by difficult choices, painful consequences and an evolving understanding of privilege.
That emotional progression felt authentic and wasn't just a change in circumstance, but a genuine change in conscience.
Meanwhile Arundhati has been shown to carry strength. She never felt reduced to the suffering she went through, instead, she emerged as a woman whose dignity survived even when the society repeatedly attempted to strip it away. Her resilience never went loud, but yes, became one of the most powerful forces within the story!
Shiva's perspective, on the other hand, is the book's number one achievement.
Through him, the novel moved beyond one generation's struggle and asked whether trauma, identity and prejudice could truly be left behind. His experiences reminded that crossing continents does not automatically erase histories that are carried within families.

I sincerely felt that this wasn't the story interested in rushing toward its destination, instead, it glorified all the silence that mattered and graced every forgotten detail, that eventually revealed its significance🤞
The result........a wonderfully immersive reading experience that felt hypnotic🤯

Lana Sabarwala has so masterfully captured a truth, that many stories overlook.......'people rarely remember the past exactly as it happens, for they remember fragments, emotions, regrets and versions of events they have learned to survive with'🙇‍♀️

There's also a lot of emotional intelligence in this story!!
There's friendship, displacement, grief, the complexity of human relationships without ever becoming heavy handed.......
name an element and this story has it🤞

The dreams, the anonymous letter and the slow resurfacing of secrets, awesomely created an atmosphere that was equal parts haunting and beautiful🤌
It's a sophisticated psychological mystery that will reward every patient reader with something more meaningful than a simple solution!!

Some books, very diligently alter the way we look at our own lives!!
The Shadow Weaver is so definitely one of those books.

It's days that I completed reading this book and I'm still thinking around on the worlds Mayaa visited...on decisions made years ago...on the opportunities missed...on the strange and fascinating possibility that every choice contains an entire universe hidden within it🤌🥹🤞

There are no easy answers in this novel.
Ms. Ssamridhi Gulati could have written a thrilling adventure across parallel dimensions, there is certainly wonder, mystery and imagination here...but she choose to pursue something deeper, for beneath the fantasy, there's a thoughtful examination of consciousness, identity and the invisible narratives that shape who we eventually become🔮
Though the world building is imaginative, it never overshadowed the emotional journey. Every alternate reality was less of a destination and more of a thought to ponder on.
Through them, Mayaa confronted not villains or monsters, but different aspects of herself🙇‍♀️ and in doing so, she became one of the most psychologically layered protagonists I've so far encountered in contemporary fantasy🤞

I particularly admire the maturity in the storytelling.
There's no overexplaining done on its themes, neither are there forced conclusions, instead, a lot of space for contemplation.
The questions raised throughout the book, continue to resonate because they are universal....like, "how much of our identity is a choice???", "how much is circumstance???" and can true self understanding ever be reached, or is it some journey without an end???"

The poetic rhythm of the prose perfectly complemented the novel's philosophical nature. Even during the most cosmic moments, the story remained emotionally intimate✨
