Some projects just hit different. This collab with @ikerer is one of those.

From the first conversation, it was clear we were on the same wavelength—no over-explaining, no forced ideas. Just a natural flow of creativity, pushing boundaries, and letting the work speak for itself.

My aim was to be a fly on the wall, capturing Iker’s obsession with details and his effortless artistry. He didn’t just build a board—he uncovered it, sculpting it down to its essence, stripping away the excess until only something truly special remained.

Can’t wait to share the next steps.

This design came to life from something deep within, a passion I was fortunate enough to learn from some of the world’s best.

What started as an idea was brought to life by local Manly artist @mentalben, whose creativity turned it into something real.

To now have a physical piece of that journey back in Australia, thanks to the crew at @buragun, is a true honour.

What I love about collaborating with surfboard shapers is getting to see how each of them approaches their craft.
How they bring something beautiful to life.

Different hands. Different rituals. Same obsession.

Much like Michelangelo said, the sculpture is already inside the stone. The work is simply removing the excess,
anything that doesn’t belong.

Watching Iker shape was exactly that.
Chipping away. Refining the lines.
Letting the board reveal itself.

Thanks for letting me be a fly on the wall
and witness your artistry.
And yeah… the board feels incredible. ✨

Me gustaría hablar de cómo las tablas hechas 100% a mano tienen algo especial que va más allá de la productividad, el rendimiento o la funcionalidad. Es una experiencia en la que el surfista se pone en manos de un shaper que, a través de ellas, su pasión y su visión, da forma a algo único e irrepetible. En mi caso, inspirado en lo que he aprendido de algunos de los artesanos más reconocidos del mundo de los que he tenido la suerte de aprender en Australia.

En un mundo dónde todo va tan deprisa, dónde lo más importante son los números, una tabla a medida hecha a mano es un proceso distinto. Intentamos dejar de lado la prisa y la búsqueda de lo óptimo para centrarnos en algo más subjetivo, con la intención de capturar la esencia de la cultura del surf y ofrecer algo realmente especial para que el surfista disfrute al máximo cada baño. Cada tabla a medida refleja la esencia del surfista, la visión del shaper y todas las influencias que han dado forma a su forma de entender las tablas de surf.

Quiero agradecer a los que han confiado en este proyecto desde el primer momento, he disfrutado mucho intentando dar forma a vuestros sueños! 🙏🏽

Todo listo para este viernes 14 de noviembre!! Tenía muchísimas ganas de que llegara el momento de volver a hacer algo que me hace muy feliz: traer a casa todo lo que he ido aprendiendo estos últimos años en Australia.
Mi objetivo es ayudar a mejorar el surfing y el disfrute en el agua de quienes confíen en mí para hacerles una tabla de surf a medida, 100% a mano, como me enseñaron algunos de los mejores del mundo en esto, que llevan más de 50 años perfeccionando su arte.

Sabía que no iba a ser fácil al comienzo, pero estoy muy agradecido de poder dar mis primeros pasos para empezar a fabricar mis tablas en Europa.
Gracias a quienes ya han confiado y han pedido la suya, a @buragun por su apoyo al proyecto y, una vez más, a @fantasticacid por compartir su fábrica y encargarse del glassing de mis tablas.

Tenemos una oportunidad única de crear una tabla personalizada y exclusiva para tí, en una de las fábricas de referencia a nivel europeo. Desde Atlantic Vibrations han salido verdaderas obras de arte para marcas y shapers como Christenson, Pukas, Alex Lopez, Tom Parrish, entre otros.
