Street culture is all about breaking with the norm. We wanted to create a runway show with the purpose of recreating a time and place within the culture we love. This is our take on its evolution from the 1990s all the way through to 2026. Swipe to experience a nostalgic journey through the decades, accompanied by a carefully curated soundtrack to help set the mood. 1990's New York - LL Cool J inspired Jerseys, Fitted Caps and the Chicago Bulls became globally recognizable. Missy Elliott came with an attitude and a take on women’s streetwear style that hadn’t been seen before. Tracksuit and Jordans... Forever an iconic combo! We now enter the 2000's The glasses, Jesus piece, and fur coat meant you knew it was about to go down. Japanese brands like Evisu and BAPE take over. So do the Game Boy and Pokémon! Polo Ralph Lauren has always had an impact, but Kanye helped make it relevant to a younger generation. 2000s pop culture, designer bags, and low-rise jeans. We now enter the 2010's The hypebeast era at its best! Brand logos were everywhere, and Supreme was especially dominant. Virgil Abloh changed the game with his brand Off-White™ and his iconic collaboration with Nike. High-end designer brands like Gucci and MCM flourished. So did skinny jeans and sneaker culture. Even the youngins were getting in on the hype. We now enter the 2020's. Activewear and functionality are prioritized. We see it as a performative style, with coats, ALD, and wired earphones. Chrome Hearts is the hottest resale brand. We haven’t seen this kind of hype since Supreme in 2016. IKIGAI “Years Of Culture” RUNWAY SHOW!🚶‍♂️ SWIPE DOWN MEMORY LANE FOR THE BEST FITS FROM (1990-2030)📖 We hosted our first-ever runway show just under one and a half years into our journey. What an incredible experience it was, and what a moment to go down memory lane.
