When the digital shaker assigned me PARSLEY as my secret ingredient, I immediately thought of Petrichor, the earthy, scent that rises from the ground when the first rain hits dry soil. My goal was to transform this humble herb into the catalyst that bridges the arid Mexican desert with the sun-drenched orange groves of Angers.

In this recipe,PARSLEY is not just a garnish; it is the vital green of the cocktail. Blended with acidified green apple, it replaces traditional lime with a botanical acidity that cuts through the mineral depth of the celery-infused SOTOL. This intense green canvas creates the perfect contrast for @cointreau L’Unique, allowing its sweet, complex orange peel notes to break through like sunlight after a desert storm.

To honor the challenge’s rules, the salty element is integrated into a cloud-like, salted PARSLEY meringue that crowns the glass. Paired with a zero-waste shaved celery ribbon, every sip delivers a textured, sustainable experience where the secret ingredient of PARSLEY completely redefines the modern Margarita.

When you think of Italian art, you think of paintings and sculptures. I preferred to tune into a different frequency: the synthetic, futuristic, and sexy rhythm of Giorgio Moroder.👨🏻🕶️

My drink for Art of ITALICUS is called 1977, a liquid track divided into three tempos:

🏔️ The Intro (The Roots):The kick of grappa and the scent of fig leaves. It is the silence of the Dolomites, Moroder’s homeland, before the fame.
🔌 The Beat (The Evolution):The fresh, citrusy flow of @italicusrdb that gives rhythm to the sip, transforming tradition into something electronic and hypnotic.
🇩🇪 The Outro (The Myth):A special garnish that nods to Munich and Berlin, the German recording studios where the sound of the future became reality.

An aperitivo. A sensory loop. A tribute to the man who invented a new art form out of a cold machine //the synthesizer// and gave it a warm, hypnotic, and fucking Italian soul.

RITUAL SERIES V4 : Florecer+Marchitar

OCASO

- bitter de epazote 🌿
- esencia de jazmín 🌘

Nace de la noche, del momento en que la luz se apaga y los aromas se transforman.
Se llama Ocaso, el instante en el que el día florece por última vez antes de marchitarse.
El florecer está representado por el jazmín, una flor nocturna que libera su aroma cuando cae el sol, delicada y luminosa, pero efímera.
El marchitar llega a través del lime negro, un cítrico dejado secar durante largo tiempo bajo el sol. Durante el día absorbe toda la energía y el calor, y durante la noche reposa y se transforma lentamente, perdiendo frescura para ganar profundidad, sombra y carácter.
A través de esta dualidad quise crear un recorrido sensorial: el cóctel se abre floral y elegante, y evoluciona hacia notas más secas, terrosas y maduras.
No representa un final brusco, sino una transición natural entre florecer y marchitar, donde cada etapa tiene su propia belleza.
