POSTS STORIES REELS

A post for my PERFECT @rundisney season.

I ran Every. Single. Race.
From 5Ks to my first MARATHON.
Finishing the Dopey Challenge! 48.6 miles in 4 magical, humbling, unforgettable days.

And here’s the part that still stops me in my tracks:
I only started running three years ago, at age 42.
When I started, I couldn’t run half a mile without stopping. I felt defeated before I even began.

I asked friends “how do you do it? How do you run so far without giving up?” I’ll never forget the answers I got “just put one foot in front of the other” “tune it all out and just run” “remember why you started.”

I’m turning 45 this year, in just a couple of weeks and I cannot believe what I accomplished so far, and how much more I know is on the horizon.

How can it be that a 10k doesn’t even feel like a “long run” anymore?!?! That’s not just about distance. That’s transformation. That’s belief. That’s growth earned mile by mile, blister by blister, tear by tear, lost toenail by lost toenail.

I ran this season to be the kind of role model I hope my kids can look up to. I wanted to show them that it’s never too late to start. You can achieve goals no matter when you begin them, and the only limiting factor is YOU.

Nothing made my heart prouder than beginning the 2024–2025 runDisney season with my family by my side at the Wine & Dine 5K. The real victory is my kids asking to participate in more races with me, asking to run with me.

Cheers to growing, dreaming, and running toward the best version of ourselves!

A huge shoutout to @theverybusybee for these BEAUTIFUL photos that actually made me cry. I cannot believe how freakin’ heavy these medals are.

Another huge shoutout to my husband, for helping me have the time to train and supporting me every step of the way, even encouraging me to sign up for a new challenge next year…

And now, on to DOPEY TO DUMBO next year!!!!

@8turn.official was so high energy with amazing vocals and choreo!

I hadn’t heard much about them before I realized they were coming to @plazaliveorlando but their music is SO GOOD! I really enjoyed their show and would definitely go see them again if they come back to town.

Also, check out photo 2, for the inspo for the cover photo, and then check out photo 3, where I used the selfie ticket in photo 1 🤣🤣🫠🫠🫰🏻🫶🏻😜💕😉

Kpop girlie day, with my favorite girl. 🫰🏻🫶🏻💕

We spent our day @shopfloridamall trading photocards, meeting new friends, buying new Kpop albums, shopping K beauty and eating POKE. I couldn’t have asked for a better day.

We traded for our top 3 groups: Cortis, Enhypen and BTS. What’s your top3?

I had a wonderful time with my non-allergy friends and my plate of sad ketchup.

They were actually very nice and made me an omelette. I was just sad I couldn’t have Halloween food. 😢 everything looks great! Make some allergy friendly foods please 🙏 @thesugarfactory
