I am still in awe that I got to see this place with my own eyes. It’s breathtakingly beautiful and so vast. The quiet there is so calming, very tempted to get a bothy to excape every now and then 🤭🛖

The Sassenach team is finally complete 💙💚🤎

FINE indeed!! I am not normally a vodka fan, but this one is really smooth, doesn’t leave that strong alcohol taste. Very happy customer 😌

Remember me 🤍

It’s been a long time coming. I’ve been planning to have this tattoo since I first read book9. The only time I cried reading the Outlander books, a part that had such a profound effect on me I immediately knew I had to turn it into a tattoo someday.

But I couldn’t decide on the design. Then recently I had the thought of asking Sam to write it for me should I get another chance to meet him - it’s his line after all, so it should be in his writing, right? He didn’t think so at first - “my handwriting is so bad!” But he gave in and I am still so grateful he did.

I hoped this line would have a place in the series as well; it’s such an important part in the book, they cannot just dismiss it. And they didn’t… it found it’s place in the final episode that’s to come out next week. I am creating this post early because I know I won’t be able to next week… I’ll be in mourning for my favourite tv show…💔

So, I finally have it. After years of planning, and 6 months after Sam gave in, I have it forever 🩷

I know you said not to @samheughan but I failed to listen to you. Sorry. But it means so much to me and I cannot be thankful enough to you for doing this and for being our Jamie.. now, then, forevermore 🩷

𝕸𝖆𝖈𝖇𝖊𝖙𝖍🗡️👑 - part 2 ☺️

I debated with myself for a very long time whether to post about this or not; then I decided, why not?🤷🏼‍♀️
I was extremely lucky to had acquired tickets for the Q&A session of Macbeth held on the 7th of November, with Sam and Lia. They talked about their work relationship; the relationship between Macbeth and Lady Macbeth; how the whole team prepared to bring Macbeth to the 21st century and what Shakespeare means to the both of them. We were not allowed to take pictures or videos (the right thing to do really); I took the only one with the empty chairs - I was lucky enough to sit the closest to Sam. ☺️ There was only a small group of people, with them in the middle. Such an amazing experience!

While planning this second trip to Stratford I had a thought: let’s check the website for return tickets for the play on the same evening. And there it was… one single ticket, waiting for me. I absolutely couldn’t say no to that. So, I went to see the play again after the Q&A, which enhanced my experience even further. I had such an amazing view from the gallery!!! This second experience really made my previous experience whole; I remember leaving Stratford for the first time a bit sad (for many reasons), wanting for more. I was unsure whether to see it again would be a good idea though.. “Will it not diminish my first experience? What if I don’t like it as much as I did for the first time”. Well, I am glad I didn’t listen to those inner voices because this time, I left happy with a ‘full circle moment’ feeling in my heart. After the play Sam came out to us fans and he was the nicest ever. Seeing @samheughan 3 times a day? Yes please! ☺️

As the play is coming to its end soon, I hope many will still get to experience this wondeful play and have a chance to meet Sam afterwards. 💙

𝕸𝖆𝖈𝖇𝖊𝖙𝖍🗡️👑

I truly don’t know how to put my thoughts into words. I experienced something very special; very visceral, terrifying, emotional.

I’ve always known @samheughan is a wonderful actor, yet I never thought he could top his game even further; but he did. His Macbeth was absolutely terrifying and scary, yet emotional and unsure at the right places.

I’ve never cried in the theatre before; well, he made me cry! I’ll never forget the scene when Lady Macbeth lost her life. Hard to describe it, you have to be there; not really to see it but to 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐢𝐭:

“𝑻𝒐𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒓𝒐𝒘, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒐𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒓𝒐𝒘, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒐𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒓𝒐𝒘…”

I consider myself extremely lucky that I am one of those people who had the opportunity to see this play. I knew it would be good, but I’ve never thought it would be this good! The whole cast was phenomenal!👏🏻 the sound and light effects added so much to the play, well done to the team!

I definitely left a piece of my heart in the theatre. ❤️‍🩹
