When I was a little girl, I grew up watching my great-grandmother make dresses. She let me use her old black Singer sewing machine, and I loved looking through her Sears catalogs and those big pattern books filled with endless possibilities.
And, of course, I loved Barbies. 💕 I would go to the fabric store, buy one peso of fabric, and make little dresses for them. At the time, I thought I was simply playing.
Looking back now, I see a little girl full of dreams and creativity, inspired by a wonderful woman who showed her, without even knowing it, what she could become.
That little girl probably never imagined that one day she would grow up to be a fashion designer and spend her life doing the same thing she loved as a child: creating, imagining, and making beautiful things.
Maybe the most beautiful part is that I never really stopped playing. ✨
Find what makes you feel like a kid again. Love what you do, keep creating, keep playing, and enjoy the journey. 🤍🧵✂️

Would you Dare to Strut? Such a fun afternoon spent in a fashion show. Humans and dogs had such a good time. I can’t thank Ilea enough for her time and dedication and creating the beautiful dress for me and the other outfits for the humans along with coordinating outfits for the dogs. Not only were her designs beautiful, she was so easy to work with and has such an amazing eye to detail. @ilearluna @totespetsboutique

I was so lucky to meet Shi months ago who certainly had a vision that all came together and was an amazing event producer. She always smiles and had great communication in bringing us all together. Thank you so much for including us in your beautiful show. @daretostrutla @shi.choong

Yesterday, I came back to the runway ✨

“I’ve been blooming even in winter” was such a special moment for me. Full of emotion, growth, and resilience.

This time, it feels even more meaningful as I introduce this new project: matching looks for dog mamas and their amazing furry friends 🐾💕

Combining my love for fashion and animals has been a dream, and seeing it come to life on the runway means everything to me.
