Two days before the engagement, we arrived at the place where Joeli wanted to propose to Nane. Her favourite tree 🥺 An admirable tree to love, I thought. Joeli’s commitment to honour Nane’s reverence was so inspiring. We found our hiding spots. Theo tested out the angles. Joeli made marks to stand, created cues, and perfected our timing. We tested and finalised the EXACT spot based on lighting, Nane’s peripheral vision, and how to capture the tree in all its beauty. At the end of the day (my favourite part!!!), Joeli wanted to find the exact spot Nane had first spotted the tree. I loved this so much because he was dedicated to seeing it from her eyes. To see beauty through another’s eyes and understand its magnificence is so true! Joeli had a plan for every scenario. He held steadfast to his vision that reflected my sister’s heart. Followed her whims and little things that made her, her. I couldn’t be more proud of you, Joeli, for orchestrating something so meaningful for our beautiful Nane 🤍 thank you for being steadfast in your love, patient, kind and caring of our Nane and her ever-evolving spirit! God bless my two favourite people ever! You deserve to immerse yourselves in all that God has destined for you since the day you met. Shindig on!!!!! 👯✨ @maryannemaasi @ileoj_f by @ileoj_f

@ileoj_f You heard the man stop ducking 😤 Joeli put it on last night giving the crowd a fight to remember, crowd was going crazy from the first bell this fight had it all. Joeli was technical in his boxing and also switched to suffocating his opponent against the ropes he embarrassed the saying “stand and bang” in the last 10 seconds with both fighters swinging it out I guess now we can see why he struggles to get opponents because he’s a problem for this division by @ileoj_f
Are you not entertained? 🤷🏽‍♂️ #nzboxing #standandbang by @ileoj_f

Over halfway through another year. Still blessed, still winning. Gratitude is the attitude 🤍🫵🏽 by @ileoj_f
Blessed with each opportunity, time and the courage to do something I love. Not many people would put their name and health on the line in front of family, friends and complete strangers. Full respect to everyone that does in this sport. God is Good, what a life. 💐 by @ileoj_f
Favourite moment from fighting over the weekend. 🎥 Last 15s in the final round of a close semi. Both tired, both not wanting to quit. Win or lesson, these type of exchanges earn respect after that final bell goes. A quote I’ll always remember before I fight is “with your shield or on it” and in this moment, we were both willing to go out with our shields or on them. #nzboxing #lastround by @ileoj_f
