Happy Pride! I made a music video both for Steven’s 69th birthday, and also for the release of his song BOSS TRIX (BENNY’S SONG) and album MY SKYSCRAPER, which spans about 40 years of his wonderful practice of working and reworking, and includes songs co-written by his friend Arthur Russell.

Alongside some gay archival material, I’m honored to additionally feature 5 NYC performers whose own magic I’ve witnessed in the last year or so on video:
