So grateful to have been part of this dance project "Yellow or Brown" by the beautiful @yonnawll 🫶🏼. Go check out the full video on her page! She invites us to reflect on our own journey and identity as dancers. And somehow, it feels like I really needed this.

Also a big thank you to this unique group of dancers. I loved how we could all be ourselves, inspire each other, and bring something authentic to the space without ever losing who we are.
💛🤎

From YouTube tutorials of his hip hop vocabulary to being taught by him in real life. One of hip hop's pioneers. Thank you for your wisdom and inspiration @buddhastretch ✨️

R E S I S T A N C E.
In the face of injustice, we resist.

This piece is dedicated to Palestine.
I hesitated to create this, unsure if I could do its weight justice.
But it was my dancers who gave me the courage to begin.
They reminded me that when something matters this much,
you must do it... even if it's imperfect.

No matter what the response may be, some things are too important to leave unsaid — or un-danced.

And so, from the river to the sea,
Palestine will be free.
Liberation for all who are oppressed.

Thanks to @stephanie_danserie for the trust and the platform to bring this piece to the stage.

Thanks to all of you for your love and support.

And of course, thanks to my dancers for bringing this piece to life.

❤️💚🤍🖤
