Sometimes you know someone is lying to you. You see it in their eyes. You feel it in your gut. But somehow, when they smile at you, everything else disappears.

You know they hurt you. You know they let you down. You know you should walk away… but a part of you still wishes you could go back and rewrite everything.

“The Way You Lie” is about that kind of love — the kind that leaves you questioning yourself, replaying your mistakes, regretting the person you became, and wishing you never met them in the first place.

I wrote this from a place of heartbreak, regret, numbness and trying to hold myself together when everything inside was falling apart.

This is the beginning of I AM EMO.

Never Change 🖤

This song is about being loved while you’re still fighting parts of yourself you don’t know how to fix.

It’s about the person who sees you struggling, worries about you, tries to hold you together… while you’re silently wondering if you’ll ever actually change.

Sometimes I don’t know how to explain what’s happening inside my head. Sometimes I run from the pain instead of facing it. And sometimes the person beside me is the only thing reminding me that I’m still here.

“Why don’t we just make the best of the time we have together
’Cause you and I know we won’t live forever.”

Never Change is me accepting that I’m flawed, I’m hurting, and I’m still trying to find my way through it.
