I spent almost two years looking back at these, thinking about who I was then and how much has changed. Photography gives me a way to keep a little part of those days, while slowly learning to accept what I’ve lost along the way. I still love doing portraits.

I kept watching them in the soft pink sunset, their presence, the fabric following, light and effortless, almost unnoticed. Girls running, laughing, just being in the moment.
