Haven't just drawn a fun little guy for a while. His name is Gëzim, he's an imp. Fun to draw shiny. Fun to draw infatuation and happy for the first time in a little bit. He's just a sweet little guy.

Sometimes I feel silly sharing stuff that's so over the place. Very moody emotional work, very Jewish work, and very gay work. It often overlaps, but man I imagine it might be whiplash sometimes for people here for only one of those things. And then of course, my beloved teacher from 15 years ago who is so cool and supportive of everything, often popping in to be kind. I appreciate y'all so much 🫡

I compiled my (very rare) tablet doodles of birds from last year. People on Tumblr seemed to like them, so I'll share them here too. Quails (and one chukar, but as they're cousins I'm giving him the honorary title of quail)

The quails subreddit has been a peaceful place for me in an endless sea of negativity on the Internet. I love quails. (I also love the sea monkey board but it's not as peaceful)

The Morning After

Wanted to reshare this one.. probably my most emotional drawing for me aside from Insufficient. Drawn off the feelings I had wrapping tefillin the morning after doing something very unwise a few years ago. For whatever reason everything just felt.. More. The tactile sensation, the cold morning air, and the lightness of my soul, happy to be awake to fulfill this mitzvah. I don't know if I'll have another morning like it, but it changed me.
