A continuation of my path and the beginnings of ILIYA.
From years spent in fashion to finding my own rhythm through process and making.
ILIYA continues to grow. Small runs. Careful construction.
Influenced by folk tales, film characters, and children’s spaces, with a subtle sense of nostalgia and a focus on everyday wear 🤍
Thank you for being part of the journey 🌞 by @iliya.world

Since we have so many new faces here, I wanted to share the story behind ILIYA 🌞
My name is Ena Čuček. I’m a mum and artist from Croatia.
At ILIYA, I care deeply about creating pieces that are well-made, guided by a strong visual perspective and a delicate sense of craftsmanship. That very feeling leads me toward new ideas and potential kids pieces. This time inspired by my newest experience: motherhood.
Fashion, fabrics, and patterns have followed me throughout my entire life, they’ve always been a world I felt drawn to, and a place where I truly see myself. Choosing materials, shaping silhouettes, and bringing every element together into a finished piece is where I find the greatest joy.
After spending five years in the fashion industry around the world, I had the privilege of taking part in various creative processes and seeing the behind-the-scenes of some of the biggest global fashion houses. I still think about one fitting where they styled an antique high-collared shirt with green cargo trousers. Strict and romantic at the same time, that kind of tension quietly rewired my eye. Those years refined my direction and deepened my love for beauty, quality, comfort, and the craft of making clothing itself. Ever since becoming a mother, my appreciation for well-made, beautiful, and comfortable clothing has only grown, especially when I see it on children. On Lota’s first day of kindergarten, I marked the moment through what she wore: a Liberty fabric shirt printed with Lily of the Valley drawing, paired with lilac jeans. Simple, but full of intention. Watching her move through such a big day in pieces I thoughtfully chose, and often design myself, continues to give my work its truest purpose.
As children grow time moves quickly, so it feels important to me that everyday moments are marked by clothing that carry meaning. A lasting reminder of a chapter filled with growth, change, and the everyday moments that stay with us 🤍
Every product is designed with the thought that it should become a part of someone’s life- to be lived in, worn daily, and eventually passed on. So welcome to Iliya world. Thank you for following, liking and sharing❤️❤️❤️ by @iliya.world
