14 Two of my best friends moved away from Berlin this week. It’s crazy how fast an era comes to an end. Then the days go by, the seat by the window left empty.

I haven’t been going on my walks as often anymore, so every week I find myself without pictures of a view to accompany my report of the week, but I also like a clunky carousel.

10🌟. Week 10! Yayy Ten weeks of the one-day-instagram-per-week formula. On my phone way less, and living more, still need to replace the habit partially. Also, my screen time on Sundays can be crazy sometimes—adjustments to the formula will have to be made.

Now I wanna lock into work again , make some money & do some projects! Theatre & film hellurrr!! but I will most definitely holiday and party here and there too bc summer isn’t over yet!!

09 Recovering from pride weekend by doing some pretentious reading in the park.

During winter solstice last year I burned 12 wishes, leaving me with one wish to work on myself. Admittedly, out of the bunch, it was one who’s importance I least understood.

This summer, in many different ways, brought along the crushing struggle that comes with healing.

Having forgotten the wish I had made that solstice, I returned home and read the unburnt note on my mirror; I realised I had learned my lesson.

I missed my weekly Sunday post last week (blame the gays). Weekly posts continue regularly again from tomorrow.

07 To be loved is to be understood, and for most of my life I haven’t always understood myself.

The timing of this Camino couldn’t have been better, not that there’s any time when there’s nothing to reflect about, but this time I felt ready to look deeper, where the light doesn’t reach, where I’m scared to look.

Walking +25km a day with your friend through the beautiful mountains of Asturias and Galicia helps with that. Wether you see animals as a sign of something greater, listen to stories in search of something deeper, everything has a meaning, a reason, or not. It’s beautiful. by @ilja_vr
