🐾 Doggy Day 2026 – Ilkley Lido

Our annual Doggy Swim returns on Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th October 2026.

Sessions: 9am–10:30am, 11am–12:30pm & 1pm–2:30pm

Tickets go on sale from Saturday 26th September at 9.00AM and can be booked online using the link in bio
Prices:

• Dog: £8.20 (includes 1 owner)
• Adult admission: £4.90
• Junior admission: £3.30

Bookings are online only, no admittance without a pre-booked ticket. Please ensure you have read the full Doggy Day Rules before attending these sessions.

LIKE, SHARE and ADD a picture of your furry friends in the comments for a chance to winner free tickets to a session of your choosing. Winners will be selected at randomly this evening and contacted.

It’s been an unbelievable year at Ilkley Lido, but it’s not over yet.

As we are now moving into September, our time tables for both the indoor and Lido will change as Tuesday 1st September 2026.

Lido
Monday - Friday
07.30 - 08.30 - 14.00 18.00
Saturday - Sunday
10.00 - 14.00

We will be reverting back to off peak pricing at all times. Bookings can be made for the afternoons and weekends but as always will no be available for morning sessions.

As and when the Lido water temperature does below 10 degrees, the lido will close for the year so there is no set date for closure. Wetsuits are highly recommended below 15 degrees. Below 12 degrees its only recommended to swim for a maximum of 20 minutes.

Some of our outdoor classes will also continue into September.
Circuit training Wednesday 07.15 - 08.15
Tia Chi for Health - Monday 17.00 - 18.00 and Friday 07.30 - 08.30
Booking is essential for outdoor classes as these are weather dependant.

☀️ Its been a busy few days up at @ilkleylido with so many people making the most of the sunshine and enjoying a day out in the warm weather. 🏊‍♀️💦

With another hot one forecast across the Bradford district, please remember to take care when spending time outdoors:

💧 Drink plenty of water and stay hydrated
🌳 Stay in the shade where possible
🧴 Apply sunscreen regularly and protect your skin
👒 Wear light clothing and a hat if you’re out and about

Ilkley Lido week commencing 10th August 2026.

More nice weather is returning over the next few days, what an ideal to time visit Ilkley Pool and Lido. Met Office is currently predicting 27° Tuesday 11th, 20° Wednesday 13 and 32° Thursday 13th.

We will be open daily 9.30 – 14.00 and 15.00 – 19.30 Monday to Friday. We strongly advise customer to pre booking using the link below. There will be a very limited number of tickets available on the door and we anticipate these will sell out within the first hour of opening. For people that have secured tickets, you are able to turn up at time within the advertised session.

Our early morning swim session 7.00 – 9.00 will remain walk ups only.

Our lifeguards are on site for your comfort and everyone’s safety. Safety signage is displayed throughout the Lido, along with clear information on water depths in each area. If you have any questions regarding water safety, please speak to a member of staff before entering the water. Children under the age of 8 years must be supervised by their parent, or an adult aged 16 or over (with a maximum of 2 children to 1 supervisor in the swimming pool water).

Ilkley Café - Due to an issue with the café’s power supply, we are currently offering a reduced menu until further notice. There will still be a selection of ice creams, soft drinks and snacks available, but hot food options are limited. We are currently exploring options to provide sandwiches on site. Visitors are welcome to bring their own food and drink as usual.
