summer of 2021 I was given the amazing opportunity to production assist on my first feature. while I was drawn to the energy and peace of working within a predominately black team in the historically black neighborhood of Harlem. I could have never imagined the film would go to Sundance and I would get the change to see my name on the real big screen. . go see A Thousand and One if you get the chance! @focusfeatures @avrockwell @lenawaithe taken in Harlem, NYC by @ill.illumination
