The team just competed at the USAC Collegiate Nationals Championship in Kennesaw, Georgia! 💪

The team has spent the past year preparing for this competition was finally able to show their results! We are very proud of our athletes for making it this far and representing UIUC at a national competition.🫡

🙏Thank you to our wonderful sponsors for helping us make it. We couldn’t have done it without you! And thank you to everyone who donated to the GoFundMe for helping make this trip more accessible!

The team has been working very hard this semester and some of us now have the opportunity to go to nationals and represent the university! 💪However, the cost of competing and travel is high and we would like to be able to reduce financial barriers for team members wanting to attend nationals. Now we ask for your help to donate and help us get to nationals! 🙌

Last weekend @climbhorizon hosted the First Light Competition, their first ever comp! In the open categories, the top 2 were both members from the Climbing Illini! 💪

Thank you Horizon for hosting this comp and being a wonderful sponsor! 🙏

The team has been training very hard this year and their work has finally paid off this past weekend! We had many members compete at the Heartland Collegiate CNQE graciously hosted by @firstascentpeoria and @usac_heartland_collegiate.

In the end, 6 of our members qualified for Collegiate Nationals! Good luck at nationals for those who qualified!

Additionally, a big thank you to @climbhorizon for being an amazing sponsor and providing a place for us to train this year!
