A new Korean gelato spot in Markham serving up classic Korean flavours with some unique toppings! The gelato was super flavorful and the portion sizes were pretty generous. Definitely loved the variety of flavours and the fun combinations they offer.

Mugwort isnt a common flavor so we were pleasantly surprised to see such a unique flavor. The Honey Matcha was sweet and had a strong matcha taste! Along with the matcha crunch, the contrast in texture was very fun and delicious 😋

The only downside was that the gelato wasn’t fully set when it was served and was still a little too liquidy for our liking. Would’ve loved for it to be a bit firmer to really enjoy the texture!

Overall, a fun spot to check out if you’re looking to try something different. Hoping the texture improves on our next visit! 🍨

NEW Korean gelato spot in Markham?!

We checked out @illoscoopandflake, a new Korean-inspired gelato shop that just opened inside Pacific Mall!!

We tried their honey matcha and I was pleasantly surprised by how strong the matcha flavour was! Not too sweet or bitter, which I loved because some matcha ice creams barely taste like matcha at all 😭

They were also super generous with their samples, so you can try the flavours before deciding!!

They currently have 4 flavours to choose from, but I’m hoping they’ll introduce more as they continue to grow because I’d love to come back and try more!!
