🥷🖤New China Prince illu Ninja

This is a true full-circle moment for me. My journey began in 2021, when I first stepped into the ballroom scene. Like many kids in the community, I watched Paris is burning and the year Legendary season 1 just came out. The energy of Ninja hits me. The passion I’ve never seen before. Five years into this legacy, I stand as the Prince of the House, carrying forward a legacy that is forever woven into queer history.

The road was never easy. I remember traveling to Korea for my debut my first time ever leaving China. I was too nervous and got chopped at my first category. I traveled to scenes, battling for this name. And of course within the house, we’ve had our conflicts, seen members come and go, and worked tirelessly to build the Asia chapter from the ground up.

Looking back we’ve come all this way through. Together, we’ve transformed this house into one of the most powerful house in the Asian scene, becoming the first to win House OTY for three years. Our chapters now thriving in over six countries and regions, our house page are also fab like no others.

On a personal level, I also found my voice here. I am proud to be among the first generation in Asia to walk GNC categories, and to manage the platforms that document our community’s growth.

Thanks to the house and community members who have trusted and walked beside me. This house makes me better a one in and out of ballroom. To me that is the true meaning of House.
