POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Today marks 5 years since we released Ash of the Womb. It has taken several years to process this emotional journey and what it means to me, and I am so incredibly proud of what we were able to capture with this album. I recently returned from the North Coast that has served as a refuge and inspiration for AOTW and our upcoming release. This specific spot where we filmed the Soma Sema video holds a special place in my heart.

We won’t make you wait much longer. Stay tuned as winter approaches.

In gratitude and anticipation for what is to come,

A huge shoutout to the people, artists, event producers & organizers we made core memories and collaborated with this year. We're putting the finishing touches on this album and can't wait to share something new with you in the coming year — MORE BUBBLE PITS 2026! 🫧| 📷 @jdonovanmalley by @illudiumofficial

We’ve been hard at work on our upcoming album and have been a bit quiet on here. Just a reminder that good things take time, and in this case, we are about 75% done recording and are getting closer to wrapping up this beast in the coming months. Thank you for the tremendous amount of support you've shown us this summer, and please continue to hang on dearly to one another as we all navigate this dystopian hellscape, and approach the darkest season of the year together. We will see you on the other side 🌚

We are still basking in the afterglow of Cascadian Midsummer, and just want to thank you all endlessly for being a part of that experience with us. The crowd was amazing, and we had a blast performing. Thank you for buying up literally all our merch, and giving us the fuel we need to continue on creating. We love you.

We cannot wait to return again to the Pacific Northwest, but in the meantime, we have this stacked Bay Area show coming up super fast. Honored to share the stage again with @lachrymarium, and our label mates @hexvesselband in promotion of their recently released epic, “Nocturne.” by @illudiumofficial

Illudium

Originating from California’s Central Coast, Illudium merges sun-soaked dreamscapes and rich, honey-like passages with the darker, heavier elements of post-metal.

We’re thrilled to announce: CHAINLACING AND ILLUDIUM - ENDURING, single available to stream now.

Stayed tuned for an upcoming collaborative merch announcement on Bandcamp Friday, as a benefit for those affected by the California wildfires.

It was an honor to collaborate with @illudiumofficial on this track. I know Shantel of Illudium from California, where we both grew up. We share strong feelings and a deep reverence for the California landscape—its redwoods, mountains, ocean, and fires. Though I now live on the east coast, Shantel and I connected again over our music and our mutual respect for each other’s art.

this song is about conflicted attachments to the past, present, and future of our homes; about nostalgia, loss, and letting go. in california and elsewhere.

Music and Lyrics by Lauren Crosser and Rick Martel
Vocals by Shantel Amundsen and Lauren Crosser
Mixed by Rick Martel
Additional drum engineering by Dan Hartel
