RIDE (EP) By: RASHED For the cover of this EP @rawen_hajri_ @expressing_the_inexpressible_ created an abstract artwork entirely from scratch. Working from the thoughts and ideas shared between her and Rashed, she translated their conversations into her own visual language building the piece layer by layer through color, texture, and form. The final artwork is a reflection of Rawen’s interpretation and creative process shaped from an idea into a fully realized piece. The second artwork is inspired by Rawen’s original cover and was created by @ysfsaoud as a personal reinterpretation of the original piece. taken in Tunis, Tunisia by @illy_rashed

RASHED is a Tunisian artist and music producer born in Tabarka, Tunisia now based in Ezzahra, Ben Arous. His relationship with music started at a young age when he would separate stems by ear just to understand what was happening inside the songs he listened to At 13 he started producing music beginning a journey that continues to shape his sound today. Influenced by sampling, boom bap, R&B, rap, and different sides of hip-hop. RASHED has always been interested in taking familiar sounds and turning them into something unexpected. For him ''doing what you love is also about discovering what you hate and understanding what you don’t belong to''. After years of experimenting and developing his own identity, he now enters a new chapter with a new EP, bringing a different approach to production and a more alternative, experimental sound to the Tunisian rap scene.
