Abdullah ibn Umar ibn Al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say:

If you are in your 20s, I have a message for you.

Zoom out and imagine your life on a timeline...

I want you to realise that this moment, you in your 20s right now, is all you have.

If you really put it into perspective, these are the most capable episodes of your life.

This is the healthiest you'll ever be,

The most free you'll ever be,

The most time you'll ever have,

The most strength you'll ever have,

The most commitment-free you'll ever be.

The most alive you'll ever be,

Your 20s is the best chance at the Dunya you can ever have,

From here on, it only gets harder,

You only get busier,

You only get weaker,

You only get more responsible,

So what are you doing knowing that this moment is as best as it gets?

If right now is as easy as it could possibly be, and you're still failing, then how are you going to win when it gets harder?

Therefore, if you were going to have a chance to make it, now is the most optimal time.

Tomorrow is not promised.

You're making excuses and complaining about obstacles, pitfalls, and making promises for tomorrow—if tomorrow is only going to be harder?

The time is now.

أَلَمْ تَعْلَمْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَهُۥ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۗ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مِن وَلِىٍّۢ وَلَا نَصِيرٍ
“Know you not that it is Allâh to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth? And besides Allâh you have neither any Walî (protector or guardian) nor any helper.” 2:107

The Protector & Supporter

أَمِ ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ أَوْلِيَآءَ ۖ فَٱللَّهُ هُوَ ٱلْوَلِىُّ وَهُوَ يُحْىِ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ قَدِيرٌۭ
“Have they taken (for worship) Auliyâ’ (guardians, supporters, helpers, protectors, lords, gods) besides Him? But Allâh - He Alone is the Walî (Lord, God, Protector). And it is He Who gives life to the dead, and He is Able to do all things.”
