Some never really made it to the post. Here is one of the “money clip” bifold that was recently made to perfection. Fun fact: I offered this piece to my first booth this year after a long hiatus and choosing to be intentional dad. Sold it! .. but messed up the personalized stamping on it on the spot. Through it all, being honest and straight forward makes the big difference. I admitted my mistake and was willing to correct it rather than selling it with defects. Turned out to be one of the fun projects I made on the spot! #persevere by @ilo.leatherwork

Testing new leather from one of the best tannery around the world.

This one is the “Hatch” edition straight from the tannery.

Very soft and smooth.

Edge work is truly a maker’s dream!

This will patina well due to its components in tanning process.

By far one of the favs! taken in Watertown, Connecticut by @ilo.leatherwork

Each pieces are made from scratch to finish by hand.

From a full skin to your choice of minimalist wallet.

Lined with famous goat Chèvre from France.

Stitched with vibrant Japanese thread. As well as for durability.

Edge painted with Italian materials. Edge paint pre-coat,

painted then edge finished with gloss/matte finish.

Sometimes it requires extensive days of trial & error to perfect the craft.

These pieces are ready for shipment.
