Who said dancing has to look good?
Sometimes you want to move.
Then comes the thought: “What will people think?”

At @ecstaticdancevaasa, we practise non-judgement together. We dance sober, without choreography, and respect each other’s space and ways of moving.

Here are three small ways to practise:
💫 Catch yourself thinking, “I look awkward”? Shift your focus: “How does this movement feel?”
🎵 Comparing yourself? Return to the body, then remind yourself: “I accept myself as I am.”
🤝 Notice someone moving differently? Give them space to explore. Let your curiosity inspire a new movement of your own.

You don’t need dance experience. You can move gently, pause, and find your own pace.

Ibland vill du bara röra på dig.
Sedan kommer tanken: ”Vad ska andra tänka?”

På @ecstaticdancevaasa övar vi tillsammans på att inte döma oss själva eller andra. Vi dansar nyktra, utan koreografi, och respekterar varandras utrymme och sätt att röra sig.

Här är tre små sätt att öva:
💫 Märker du att du tänker: ”Jag ser klumpig ut”? Fråga dig själv: ”Hur känns den här rörelsen?”
🎵 Jämför du dig med andra? Känn efter hur din egen rörelse känns. Påminn dig själv: ”Jag accepterar mig själv som jag är.”
🤝 Ser du någon röra sig på ett annat sätt? Ge dem utrymme att utforska. Låt din nyfikenhet inspirera dig att prova en ny rörelse själv.

Du behöver ingen tidigare danserfarenhet. Du kan röra dig mjukt, ta pauser och hitta din egen takt.

Still love the music and the feeling of celebration?

At @ecstaticdancevaasa , we dance sober. You don’t need dance experience. There’s no choreography to follow.

Start small. Notice a sensation, then explore a movement:

🎵 Listen for one sound. What movement does it invite?
👣 Feel both feet on the floor. Gently shift your weight.
✨ Pause. Would you like to keep moving or rest?

That can be your beginning. Move in your own way, at your own pace.

We will gather at the pristine Alhovuori nature sanctuary to awaken the spirit of the mountain, bring our offerings, share songs and raise the energy of the land through ritual, rhythm and movement.

As ancient wisdom meets contemporary technology, we come together to reconnect — with nature, with each other, and with something wild and timeless within.

We aim to keep the ceremony at the mountain top regardless of the weather, so bring your rubber boots and a poncho/rain coat.

This is a private, invitation-only gathering.
A contribution of 44 € is recommended to participate and helps cover the costs of the gathering.

To prepare the right amount of ceremonial cacao, the registration will close on Friday 11.9 17:00.

Your iPhone isn’t old. Apple just made it *feel* old. 🍎

Ever updated an iPhone or iPad and suddenly wondered why your perfectly good device became slower, heavier and somehow… obsolete?

That’s the problem with major OS redesigns.

**Liquid Glass looks beautiful. But does your older device really need all that extra visual complexity?**

So here’s my strategy:

📱 **Update now** — get the latest stable version and security updates.

🛑 **Then stop automatic OTA updates** — if you want to stay on the version that works well for your device.

🧰 One tool that has been used for this is **Nugget**: google "nugget iphone/ipad"

Under **Miscellaneous → Daemons**, Nugget has provided an option to disable OTA updates.

Then let Apple do the beta testing with millions of real users. 😅

When the next major release has settled down — and you actually want it — turn updates back on.

**Your hardware belongs to you. You decide when it becomes obsolete.**
