Sadnoise opens with sonic rituals for handmade electroacoustic instruments and generative systems. Every performance is a milestone. Recently, the NYC Tabla Ensemble performed at a community event, where some of my advanced students presented tabla solos while another student accompanied them on lehra. Playing lehra requires focus, sensitivity, and confidence. Performing in front of an audience makes it even more challenging. With very little preparation time, they came together, supported one another, and delivered a flawless performance. I couldn’t be prouder of their growth. Progress doesn’t happen overnight, and neither does success. It is built one class, one practice session, and one performance at a time. Every small opportunity prepares you for the next one, and watching my students grow into confident musicians is one of the most rewarding parts of teaching. We are currently accepting new students of all ages and experience levels. If you’ve been thinking about learning tabla, now is a great time to start. Feel free to spread the word, and check the link in my bio for more information. #tabla #NYCTabla #LearnTabla #DrumLessons #tablaplayer taken in Brooklyn, New York by @ilotnasailuj
