Cartier • Tank Solo • 18K Bezel • SM

This beautiful Cartier Tank Solo is in like new condition. This is the small model of the Tank Solo’s coming in at 24.4mm. It features the classic silver opaline dial, Roman numeral hour markers, and blued-steel sword-shaped hands. It is powered by a reliable, high-precision Swiss quartz movement & has the beautiful blue spinel on the crown.

This watch will be coming to @acurrentaffair LA this weekend, September 19-20th at the Cooper Design Space in DTLA! Make sure you come down and see us!

“1904, Louis Cartier granted the wish of the famous Brazilian aviator Alberto Santos Dumont: to be able to tell time while flying. The birth of one of the first ever wristwatches sealed the bonds of friendship between these two pioneers. The rounded angles of the dial, the seamless curve of the horns, and the exposed screws made for an iconic watch that would inspire countless reinterpretations.
Santos-Dumont watch, large model, mechanical movement with manual winding 430 MC. 18K rose gold 750/1000 case, beaded crown set with a blue cabochon-shaped sapphire, sunray-brushed and lacquered peacock blue dial with Arabic numerals, gold-finish polished steel sword-shaped hands, sapphire crystal. Case back engraved with the handwritten signature of Alberto Santos-Dumont. Strap in blue alligator leather, 18K rose gold (750/1000 ardillon buckle. Case dimensions: 43.5 x 31.4 mm, thickness: 7.3 mm. Water-resistant up to 3 bar (approx. 30 meters/100 feet).“

I am DYING! This watch is so amazingly insane! I love that this watch isn’t available through Cartier right now! This is a manual wind (mechanical) Cartier Dumont watch in Peacock Blue! Solid 18K Rose Gold with the Arabic numerals!
