POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

A little spoiler alert. Had an absolute pleasure mixing @gigitsin trio new album recorded by @_gvaji at @leno_records @giobass2013 on double bass and @kukucholaze on drums. Here is a short video from @abbeyroadstudios with Miles Showell doing his magic touch on the mastering session. Special thanks to @penelope.gerda for attending the session and shooting some behind-the-scenes from infamous walls on St. John’s Wood. Chuck Berry 100th Birthday. Seen him live twice in my life, last time while he was 83 or so. It was crazy to think that The Beatles started their career playing covers of his already well known hits. I even helped the promoter to find the proper rare guitar amp from his rider and got a +2 on the guestlist. by @ilyamazaev

An absolutely amazing @telefunken_mics factory tour on a yesterday zoom. Huge thanks @heyaudiostudent and Alan for this! There will be another one in late November so if you’re an alumni or a current student of @digitalrenaissance.education count yourself invited. @nashalbertcom @musiatotibadze I attach your song because Musia sang into a Telefunken Copperhead valve mic here :-) #musicproduction taken in Connecticut, USA by @ilyamazaev

@istanbulaudioeducators conference Day 2. @michaelbeinhorn shared so much on how being honest to your gut feeling and the somatic sensation rather than analysis of music may direct production to a much cooler place (it may seem an obvious phrase but he has his great very deep point on this, read his book). And of course some Q&A and stories on producing @herbiehancock @soundgarden @holemusic @chilipeppers and more by @ilyamazaev
