Today Margaret Anne Lee Queen has left us here on earth and joined our ancestors above. I am everything I am because of who she is and the love she has poured into me. She was my parent, my backbone, my shining star and my best friend. There’s no one on this earth who can replace who she is and the hole her loss leaves us with. She gave her love endlessly to everyone around her and her loved ones. She was kind, funny, generous, and stern especially about the temperature in her home.

Grandma…I don’t know who to be without your love and guidance. I don’t know how to go a day without a video coming from you to watch. I don’t know how to live a day of this life without you being there. I know you said you’ll always be with me…but that always I thought I had in body came to end sooner than I may be able to cope with. You’re everything to me. You built my love of art, reading, and everything I hold dear. You encouraged me and made sure not a day passed without me knowing I am blessed and loved. I am not okay without you here and I know one day I will learn to be. For now, I’ll hold our last moments dear and I’ll take peace in knowing you no longer have to push yourself past your pain to be here. Me and mom will be alright. 🤍 please save a place for me in your arms when I see you again.
