📍VGK - Home
🏆First Race of the Moroccan Championship

A very challenging week end indeed : a broken chassis, an accident, 2 DNFs and an extreme fatigue. Still, we made it ! Being home was as comforting as it was stressful, but the support I received was unforgettable,
I am grateful to every member of the @gkr_motorsport family for their presence and to the @frmsa.sportauto for their amazing management. To my friends who were there every step of the way. To @kali515 and the whole team for their restless work and genuine dedication. And of course, to my parents, my greatest source of motivation, without whom I would not be here today !

Congratulations to @rayane_laamarti and @bessma_kh for their deserved trophees, hoping I’ll see them soon on the track 🏎️

My domain expansion: Race starts 🔥

An important part of racing, that unfortunately most drivers tend to underestimate. Here are some throwbacks from my previous races and it shows the impact of a well performed standing start 💪 by @ilyass.e

And that’s a wrap 🙏

My story started with my love for cars,

I was lucky enough to start racing,

I made the most out of it and became a Moroccan champ,

I brought the championship winning kart to the biggest car-meet Morocco has ever seen by @its.aj.life ( no one has ever done this before ) 🤫

Chapter 1 is over, onto the next one 💪

My mark is there, couldn’t be prouder, god is great.🤲

And there it goes … the last dance 🤲

I got the opportunity to participate in the totality of the Moroccan championship for the first time since I started racing in 2021, and man It has been a hell of a rollercoaster! A season full of joy and disappointments like the saying that goes « sometimes maybe good, sometimes maybe shit 🤣 » but it wouldn’t have been possible without the immense support of my family, and thanks to the almighty I had the chance to live a young boy’s dream as well by shooting my shot at the WSK ( a race that no one had the balls to do 🤪).

All jokes aside, this race has been a disaster for me all weekend long, struggled too much with the engine to the point where I overused my tires in the heats due to my frustration, because at one point i felt like a rotax racing Kzs ( it doesn’t overwrite the fact that Rayane was flying ) 🤷‍♂️

All in all, I want to thank my parents and my yassou for their unconditional support, also my friends who have been cheering for me for the past 4 years, and you guys for your incredible messages all along the road. Thanks to @kartingagadir for this crazy year. And for myself, I am going back home, I’ll see you during the announcement day of the championship results.

7 out 🎤

Haha I think he liked the surprise 😂 @rayane_laamarti

Taking advantage of being the only driver on the track today, it was chaotic but worth the risk ☠️😂 taken in Maroc Racing Kart by @ilyass.e

Mixed feelings 🤷‍♂️

Looking back on what was a dream come true, my first international race 🙌 ,and not any other typical race, I had the immense privilege and opportunity to go to the WSK Final cup that took place in Cremona.

I knew before hand that the level was high, that I’ll be racing the best drivers in the world, but I didn’t flinch from the difficulty of the competition.

Basically started the week on a 4 seconds gap to the fastest guys in front, but kept my head down and worked hard to get it below the 2 seconds gap by Saturday in heat 2. The multiple crashes in practices, heat 3 and Final taught me some hard lessons that I embraced even though I cried when i couldn’t finish the Final race because I had a good start and showed strong speed in the first two laps. 🤷‍♂️

Now, time to move on and cherish what I had to experience, and my head is already focused on the last round of the Moroccan championship. 🇲🇦

This was my first race, believe me I AM COMING BACK very soon 💪

Last but not least, I will be forever grateful to my parents for their sacrifices towards achieving my dreams, love you baba and mama ❤️. Also, @kgt_motorsport and @catabboantonio for their amazing job and making this opportunity possible, and @danivasile00 for every single tenth that you helped me gain on the track despite the short time that we had to spend together 🙏

See you 🔜
