5 beautiful weeks in a place surrounded by faith and overwhelming love.These past few weeks have reminded me that growth often happens when we make space for God to work in our lives. I’ve seen how God can work through simple conversations till 4am with my campers or through the faithful obedience in knowing his plan will work out the way it’s supposed to and I’m so grateful to have witnessed that at LLYC.It was such a blessing to watch the work being done in the lives of each and every camper. Seeing each of them grow in their faith, remaining patient and rooted in the Lords adoration, and encouraging one another was a beautiful reminder that He is always at work in our busy lives. Having the opportunity to lead these girls was a gift, and there was beauty in that alone.The privilege and joy it was so work alongside the most lighthearted and intentional people the Lord could have given me, my co’s. Y’all have truly have shown me what it looks like to be genuine and a faithful servant of the Lord. Sunny’s love for one another in lending a helping hand, Bennett’s constant reminder to be joyful and have a child-like faith, Vaughn’s strong commitment to guiding others in their walk with Christ, Grier’s laughter and full heart show her true care for others, Chloe’s relentlessness and determination to open up in being her fullest self, Ella’s sweet soul inspiring others to lean on their faith, and Ana’s willingness to extend grace to others reflects her compassion and understanding. Y’all have consistently shown Christ’s love in both the big moments and the small, everyday ones.The beauty of the canyon was a constant reminder of God’s presence and His goodness. I left feeling even fuller in heart than when I entered— and praise the Lord for that. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds His people both now and forevermore. — Psalm 125:2And as a constant reminder never forget to climb that mountain 🫶🫶 by @ilysepumphrey
