POV: Netflix does a documentary on how the media lied to travelers about countries of color** 🎬

Episode 1: Renata- A woman from Texas whose family warned her about cartels and kidnappings — who then spent 9 months eating the best food of her life, meeting the kindest strangers, and experiencing a quality of life she didn’t know was available to her.

Countries visited: Costa Rica. Jamaica. Panama. Vietnam.

The countries they call “underdeveloped” are where some of us have actually been living our best lives. 😮‍💨 And (probably surprisingly) I do still think the U.S. and Europe have some great traits about them!! Im just saying don’t think the POC countries dont have nothin going on b/c then that’s like saying WE don’t have nothing going on/great about us and we know THATS NOT THE TRUTH! ‼️
