Wow.. 20 years?! When they say time flies by when you’re having fun… I get it. It’s crazy looking back. 21 years old and clueless. Haven’t even flown on Hawaiian before. You fly with strangers for the first time together.. you are in a new city. Scared nervous. You get to know each other in the galleys. By the time you land, you have each others numbers and have plans to hang out on the layover.. colleagues become friends.. quickly become part of the fam.. it’s a crazy culture. We are hand selected because not only are we responsible professionals… but have amazing hearts. It’s easy to just love each other. That’s what I’m so grateful for. @hawaiianairlines thank you for this. To my classmates #PAPAEKAHI! First class after 911. It was a tough beginning but we did it!!! I remember the first day of training.. Kal said look around the room. You all don’t know each other rn.. but believe me when I say after you graduate. You forever will be bonded for life. I feel that completely. It’s amazing to look back on these 20 years and think of all the people who have impacted my life. Who helped me to grow as a person and have been there through so many milestone moments. I’m forever grateful and I love you. I know you know who you are! I’m speaking directly to you. So grateful to finally get to travel.. it’s been a bit. Life’s just been work, work, and work. Much needed break. There’s a crazy heat wave in Rome… but I’ll just have to try to stay stay cool. Never have I ever forgot to bid…. 19 years in and I was having a moment all month… trying to drop/trade out of this trip.. for the life of me I kept trying… best mistake ever. So grateful to ring in the new year with this crew..this trip was seriously one of those that I forever will remember. We had heart to hearts… laughed till we hurt…. Basically spent the entire layover together loving on each other. I am having Majah withdrawals. No regrets and so so grateful. My heart is full. And I’m so optimistic for what 2026 has in store. Happy birthday Dad!!! Jeez it doesn’t get any easier… we miss the hell outtta u. Today’s been really tough. Don’t know why the tears keep falling. Probably thanks to your daughters making me cry as soon as I wake up. Flooding our family chat with videos of you. I miss your smile. I miss your laugh. I miss your lame dad jokes that don’t seem so lame anymore…. I miss how much you showered us with so much love. I’m happy that you are happy now in heaven. I just miss you. Thanks for continuing to visit me in my dreams. I love that we can hang out every so often still. But could you please visit them too.. I know I was the favorite but you can’t be too obvious ;) Thank you for building the house for us. You worked so hard for our family and I’m sure you are gonna love how it turns out. The renovations are happening so quickly. Eric drew out the whole floor plan and made sure it’s all perfect. I’m sure you’ve seen how mom’s so excited and her bedroom is looking incredible. We will continue to look after mom… I know that was your worry… no need. We got you. ;) Happiest birthday to you Dad. Happy Fathers Day Dad. Today has had some beautiful moments and difficult moments. You always constantly come into my thoughts. So many things remind me of you. So many things that you instilled in me by example plays out all the time.. the other day on a layover, I was walking on the sidewalk with my friend, and while cars were going by I casually without thinking reached for her arm and switched positions so she was on the inside and I on side of the cars… she was stunned that I did that. I didn’t even think anything of it. It’s just one of those things that u did and taught me… made me smile. You are the best man that I know. And I’m so grateful that I was so lucky to be your son. Please don’t stop visiting me in my dreams. You being the prankster always finding ways to show us that you’re still around. We love it. I know mom especially appreciates it. Copenhagen, DENMARK 🇩🇰 it was always on my bucket list to go and now I get to ☑️ that off my list! I’ll always remember it because I was able to turn 40 here. And thanks to these 3, I didn’t have to worry about any of the logistics. I was able to focus on my family leading up to this trip. So when the day finally came. I could just breathe. Munich, Germany 🇩🇪 Oktoberfest was tons of running around, lotsa laughs… even some cuts and bruises to bring home for memories. Got to wear a lederhosen and drink with friends and strangers! This festival is craziness. Note to self. Don’t think you can go uphill on a crazy fast treadmill, after a full day of drinking beers. These Germans, and apparently, Cliff know how!!!! I loss both shoes, my hat, and my dignity.. but bottom line it was an experience I’ll never forget. I PROST to that 🍻 taken in Munich, Germany by @im_so_brad
