When Howard Met Genevieve 💖. How lucky we were to celebrate family love over Valentines weekend- and to witness Dad meeting his newest granddaughter❣️ Siblings and 3/4 of the in law spouses- (you were missed @peter.lacrosse ) all got to gather & share stories, meals, momentos, laughs ,feelings & memories. Hopefully bringing home the best & most meaningful to each & every one of us!.. As the first day of the New Year( and another trip around the sun for yours truly) comes to a close, it’s been a nicely cozy ending to a very fulfilling, eventful and ( mostly) good year. We were very fortunate to be able to spend holidays with much of my family that we don’t always get the good fortune to be with all together!! Pink champagne by the fire was a perfect way to end the year & ring in the new- just as midnight came , lightning strikes , thunderclaps & driving rain arrived. Balloons & homemade cake are always a good way to celebrate 🎉. So happy to have all 3 sisters be together again at Christmas - same for being with the 3 nieces too! It was a huge blessing to be with the littlest ones for the holiday 💝don’t know who had more fun with karaoke- Theo or Roy😆. Juju bee loved being in charge of her new baby doll- she can speed around in the stroller when Liora is otherwise engaged! Dad, at 90 is happy where he lives and is grateful to have visits & celebrations when he can. Lastly, just a couple of pics of the beauty of nature that I hope to enjoy more of & immerse in more in the coming years. The 8 point buck is an occasional visitor out in the back. A fall visit to PA brought an opportunity to take a beautiful walk with @ladyllf & @poplazop Looking at all the photos taken from this past year, I feel so grateful to have a loving family, wonderful friends, good health - life seems to go by faster every year — hoping I can grab even more of it to absorb & enjoy!! So, it’s been more than a minute since I’ve posted. Sooo much has occurred in the past few months!.. much to be thankful, joyful & in wonder of 🥰. Summer kicked off with the beautiful, intimate & elegant wedding of our “baby brother “ . Knitting together the families has been wonderful- more connections & bonding, more kids to watch grow 🎉. As summer progressed, getting to spend time with family, & seeing my beautiful nieces growing into motherhood, . We were lucky enough to celebrate Dad’s 90th birthday. It’s heartwarming to see him happy where he is & sharing family news with him. We took a break from festivities here to travel & see friends abroad — more festivities (will share Denmark celebrations in a later post) Back home to celebrate our brother’s 50th. The end of summer brings a new beginning. The arrival of our brother & sister-in-laws firstborn !! It has been a wild ride of a summer!!.. so much happiness & celebrations. There has been some sadness & some loss as well. But having strong family & friends, a lot of love - makes all the difference #familytime #celebrations #growingfamilies #newarrival by @imacynsation

It’s only been a little over a week since I was generously allowed to help @lillazop & @elazop be an extra set of hands & get a taste of the “Gramma life”!! Already missing the giggles & nonstop action!Had a great time being reminded of unconditional love & how the heart is pulled my the smallest smile, glance, hug or lap sit!!!… @ladyllf was present for an extra dose of toddler love too! “It’s Happening “!!!.. as @themarion33 is known to say😆. We are sooo happy & excited about recent family events. Expanding and extending the family !! My very dear brother found a wonderful partner in Marion. Meeting all her family & welcoming them as part of ours extends the family & the happiness…. Let the gatherings begin!! My youngest niece became a mom for the second time!… adding to the next generation & expanding the family (& the happiness as well!). This little one was born on my late mother’s birthday ( her great grandmother). She was named for her other great grandmother… what a beautiful & fitting tribute. Lastly, my grandchildren seem to have 4 legs & a tail.!!🤣. My son was adopted by an adorable little kitten that decided jumping out of the bushes & following him home was the fastest path to being spoiled & loved unconditionally. It appears to be mutual. So, thank you to my wonderful family for adding to , & extending all the love & the happiness that comes along with all the new developments— may it always be so!! Sailing into Sixty!!😳😯😆. As we start a new year, I begin in an unfiltered state by kissing my 50’s goodbye!.. I love celebrating amongst the beautiful holiday decor & never liked the Christmas tree to come down on the 1st! Entering into this decade can bring you up short & be a jarring reminder…I have lost some dear, wonderful people- close in heart—some who didn’t see 60… I hope to truly make the most out of the life we have left to live. My hopes for 2023 are to strengthen & reinvigorate friendships & bonds, to live more healthily & continue to find magic & joy in the everyday pleasures of life! Much, much love to friends & family alike!!! Happy 2023!!
