This Louth home balances soft country style with a calm, contemporary mood.

Interior designer Deirdre O’Connell of @deirdreoconnell_interiors explains that, “Though spacious, the existing layout limited how the family wished to spend time together. The house was ready for a refresh that would bring it into a more contemporary era while retaining the warmth and character of a country home. The clients wanted to feel proud of their home again and to create something beautiful, comfortable and quietly luxurious that would work for family life for many years to come.”
