I’d really like to take the time to highlight/introduce my philosophy and standards as a photographer.

Below are the details of how I approach every session:

Before every shoot, I like to get a feel for what you love (your “good side,” favorite angles, etc.) and anything you’re not super comfortable with. We go over it ahead of time so you don’t have to think about it in the moment—it honestly helps break the ice and makes everything feel way more relaxed.

I’ve been in front of the camera myself, so I know how frustrating it can be when your preferences aren’t really heard. That kind of stress *does* show in photos, and I never want that for you. I want you to feel confident, comfortable, and like your best self the entire time.

I see photography as a team effort. It’s not me controlling everything—it’s us creating something together. I’m big on open communication and keeping things easygoing so you can just be yourself and actually enjoy the experience (because that’s when the best photos happen).

When we’re shooting, I keep things pretty low-pressure and laid back—giving you direction when you need it, but mostly letting real moments happen naturally without hovering or making things feel forced.

Recently I’ve realized that I truly am more than a photographer, and I’m excited for new opportunities and fresh clients/ideas to come my (our) way. 😉 by @imagine.metanoia

I cannot explain the feeling these photos produced in my entire soul, but they are my favorite photos I have taken to date. I’m so grateful to be able to go into my own world and capture such beautiful moments in time. by @imagine.metanoia

Fingers crossed this post gets at least a little attention since I’m more passionate about photography than pretty much anything else besides being a mom.

Lately I’ve been wanting to branch out and tap into my creative side. Enjoy. 💭
