#Anthonypappalardo ‘s Mosaic part imo is one of the all time greats, maybe my favorite song choice ever, it solidified @dinosaurjr as one of my faves for good, and the fact that he’s also from Long Island made the impact even bigger for me and my friends. The evolution and maturity in his skating here was a shock in the right way to our systems. We were all dressing and attempting to skate like him shortly after. I heard Pops fought hard to get that Dino Jr song in his part because at the time they were considered antiquated but he really wanted it to feel like the part could’ve been in #memoryscreen . Mission accomplished. by @imajerk

@theyforgotmychips brings up #mattreason a lot and for good reason. You can see his influence all over modern skate videos today , from the clothes , physical style and trick selection it all started right here for the most part. taken in Love Park Philadephia by @imajerk

We watched this part almost daily before skating when it came out. Most of the clips are still unmatched some twenty odd years later. It’s also probably the first time I heard Joy Division. At the time it was only rumored he was on Chocolate until this came out and so It was a legit shock (to us at least) when he showed up in the video. It was an exciting time for my generation. MJ forever for real 🙌 by @imajerk

I “met” Marc Johnson when I was 14 at an Enjoi demo at Special Sauce on Long Island. He told everyone including me that he was Mike Johnson, not Marc Johnson. He committed to the bit completely, refusing to sign his name on anything, until they were pulling away in the van. As they drove off, he stuck his head out the window throwing stickers at us screaming “I AM Marc Johnson, Bitch!” The only evidence of the event left is my wrecked board signed by the entire team except Marc. There’ll never be another like him. His influence is immeasurable. RIP Mike Johnson 🙏 by @imajerk
