There’s something about sharp, craggy mountains surrounded by this wierd flora and fauna on the South Island of Aotearoa. I find it mesmerising. So much like other beautiful parts of the South Pacific like Tahiti and Hawaii. I stopped in these faraway places when I immigrated as a child by ship to Australia from Canada on the SS Mariposa. They sparked my imagination then, and more and more as I get older I’m drawn to these landscapes. The snow, the light, and the deep greens of rainforest. by @imalwayspacked

We will not be silent. Art speaks when words fall short. A digital portrait in solidarity with Palestine, for @imalwayspacked . 🇵🇸 by @imalwayspacked

Gosh I can’t get enough of a good country pub with a great voice singing into the night. We are on a roll with angelic women’s voices #elthampub @mapleglider @officialfables at Sherwood, Queenstown ✨✨✨✨ by @imalwayspacked

Nice to see some of the women we used to protest with in Melbourne today at the #freethehungerstrikers snap rally at the British Consul. @gbpslabour are willing to let these young people die. It’s unfathomable. by @imalwayspacked

The magnificent trees of Naarm. by @imalwayspacked

I’m still amazed we can have such a mammoth week just 3 hours from home! It was 40c last week at home and -2c and snowing at Aoraki.. I still miss Canada, but this sure helps.
Thankyou again Aotearoa 🙏 by @imalwayspacked

Waiting for dear friends at our local during spring golden hour on Gertrude in Naarm. Pure beauty ✨✨✨ by @imalwayspacked

Just when I start to think humanity and the environment are totally cooked, nature stops me in my tracks. This was just before the lightning and blackout on @andreagibson’s 50th birthday. Thankyou for reminding me to stop and notice. You are definitely still ⚡️ by @imalwayspacked

Beautiful Auroras in Otago mountains tonight. My first time seeing Australis. For those that don’t know I was born under Aurora Borealis in Canada and live somewhere near Australis. by @imalwayspacked
