POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I started a substack!!👩🏼‍💻 If you’ve enjoyed any of my work for @thesedaysmag, one of my many rants, or are looking for new reads, you can find me under the same username or at the 🔗 in my bio

I’m calling it Doorway Conversations because I love lingering and admittedly have been a bit obsessed with what doorways represent for too long and the conversations we have on the way out and in. this will be a mix of my reactions to life, musings on the world, music thoughts, and lots more 🧠✍🏻

find my first piece on grief live now (spoiler alert: I write about grief a lot!) <3 by @iman1467

newwww substack up 🫶🏻

most of my writing as of late has been about the fleeting nature of _life_ and a lot of that includes reshaping memory and my understanding of what’s happened to me and what I have happened to as I move through the world. maybe more of this? maybe not! that’s the point!

very honored to be featured in this issue of @pinkythemagazine + especially for it to be a poem featured! wow!

this abecedarian poem was at the same transformative, fun, & gutting to write. I love the challenge of structure and it was satisfying to unearth the feelings, turn them into words & put them in “place”

2nd photo is a film photo of mine of a special place to me and the subject of the poem. happy to have it live in print 🍬

there are so many amazing artists featured so you should support physical AND independent media by buying a copy @ girlscarryingshit.com by @iman1467
