the king is chosen, rules justly, returns people and gods to their places. Soft land / soft men was about character, not prayer.
No sermons. No private diary. The religion we can document is public: restore what was broken, do not force one cult on the empire.

SCENE ROUNDUP 09.09
Six moves this week. Clubs robbed, clubs opening, a cathedral booking, and a Drumcode collab. Swipe.

TOLA / Locker / fabric / Blawan / Waterworks / Keep Up

TOLA HIT HARD
Peckham’s TOLA was cleaned out on 27 Aug. £30k of decks, system parts, bar stock, even the card readers. GoFundMe “The Dance Must Go On” is live. Grassroots rooms don’t survive this alone.

LOCKER OPENS MANCHESTER
New 450-cap room inside New Century, early October. L-Acoustics by Adlib. Opening: Nooriyah, then Paranoid London live. Season also holds Two Shell, Logic1000, Soichi Terada, Heidi.

FABRIC AT ST PAULS
Four-year exclusive with St Paul’s. First seated night 29 Oct, through 2030. Khan called it an iconic duo. A Nelson descendant called it an insult. It’s happening either way.

BLAWAN DROPS KEYS
“Gi Mi Keys Back” is out now on XL. “Auto Fake” follows. Vinyl 12” lands 13 Nov. He plays it at RA25 London the same week the two-tracker hits.

WATERWORKS THIS WEEKEND
36 hours at The Cause, 12–13 Sep. Seven rooms. Raresh b2b Sonja Moonear, Skee Mask b2b OK Williams, Octo Octa live, Eris Drew. Saturday house/techno, Sunday sound system.

BEYER ARGY ALOK
“Keep Up” is out on Alok’s Rave The World. First time the three share a record. Melodic techno built for big rooms, already in Argy’s NEWWORLD sets.

The room is open.
Hybrid live sets master class on Skool.
