as 2025 ends, i would like to look back and reflect on all of the blessings God gave me this year. 2025 was truly the BEST year of my life and i received so much love and support from everyone around me. 2024 was a year full of lessons and hardships, and God paved a way to make 2025 a beautiful year. From being blessed with the most perfect man on Earth, to working a great job in the legal field, to being blessed to be engaged and have a baby… it’s so overwhelming!

i really want to thank God for everything he has done for me, because without him, none of this would be possible.

i’m ecstatic to see what 2026 brings and am even more ecstatic to meet our beautiful baby.

Who would’ve thought in 2025 I would officially be with the love of my life and we would be blessed with a bundle of joy 🥹 I want to give a huge thanks to my partner who has been the BEST partner I could ever ask for. Everyday is truly a joy having you in my life and I thank God everyday for bringing you in my life and allowing us to be together. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you❤️

As I finish with my last final ever today, I can FINALLY say I am done with law school! Southern University Law Center has been such a wonderful experience and I am more than blessed to have attended my #1 choice for law school. From the long nights of studying, to meeting with TAs and professors once a week to the fun outings with my friends, SULC owes me nothing! 🥹

Being 25 and a lawyer is such a huge accomplishment for me and I make it look good! I am super proud of myself for making sure I could achieve the goal of being active in school, while also ensuring to keep my grades in line. I have achieved being a 1L SBA Class Representative, the Chairperson for Big L/Lil L Mentor Committee, Women in Law Committee Chair and Membership Chair, and a Senior Editor for the Journal of Race, Gender and Poverty.

Southern University has also played a significant role in my success. The friendships and bonds I have made with people have held me up my entire journey and I love and appreciate everyone who has cheered me on throughout it as well. I started off as an Eagle, but finished off as a Jaguar at heart and I am forever thankful for this experience. 💙💛🐆

I worked hard in silence, but now I let my success speak for me 🎓🎉
