“What is meant to be, won’t pass you by” This quote has always stuck with me because it is beyond true. As I spent the day traveling back home yesterday, I was able to think about how proud I am of myself for stepping foot on the Miss USA stage. This has been been a dream of mine since I started pageants 20 years ago. Although the night didn’t go as planned, what did go as planned was my destiny. For years I thought being Miss USA was what my life had in store, but now I understand that my purpose and life plan is headed towards a different path and that’s okay💙

From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU for all of your love, messages, posts and support throughout this journey. I’m working on getting back to you all. There are so many people I need to thank but I will leave that for different posts. In just 11 days I crown the next Miss Washington USA and she will embark on this incredible journey. It’s truly a once in a lifetime experience. Now, I will continue to follow my dreams and be the person I was meant to be. I love you all✨ by @imani_blackmon
