this post is very emotional for me— looking at my experiences with dance over the years is very sentimental to me.

from the very first time I stepped onto a stage to perform, all the way to the last time I stepped off one… for now, of course ;)
dance has always been everything to me.

a couple years ago i lost the deep passion i once had for dance, but little by little, day by day, over the past couple of years— dance has found me once again, forever this time.

to all of the beautiful individuals that have had an impact on my dance journey, my growth, whom have inspired me, believed in me, cheered me on, and taught me what i know, i love you sincerely. from every teacher, every choreographer, every friend, every family member, you shaped me into the dancer that i am today, and i am forever grateful.

from once being just a self taught little girl for 10+ years, to choreographing my first musical “The Prom”, making cuts for Dance Company, being captain for Hip Hop Dance Team, choreographing both group, duo, and solo pieces, performing at graduation, and more— wow.
the honor of getting to bring my mom on stage to dance with me for my senior project, at the same arts school she once graduated from, was so memorable.

i am forever proud and forever grateful for every opportunity that has came, and for many more that will come in the future.

forever a dancer.
