my second mothers day. being a mommy is truly a gift. for God to trust me to raise one of His most delicate creations is a feeling i cant put into words. the love i have for my baby girl goes beyond all limitations. every day might not be easy but it is worth more than gold. getting a front row seat to her personality, her likes & dislikes, her interests, her smile, & being her place of comfort is more than i could have ever prayed for. 💕

this mothers day is different. my biggest encourager & supporter, my twin, my listening ear, my sounding board, my mommy is not here physically. though i still don’t understand why we didn’t have more time together, i am grateful for the love she unconditionally gave me while she was here. i pray selah will feel even just half of the love i felt from my mommy as she grows. i will always make sure she hears of her gigi who loved her with the same (if not more lol) love. 🤍

thank you to everyone for the outpouring of love and support for my mommy. she would have been so proud of her celebration today. every call, text, flower, email, dm, hug, card, etc means the world. 🩷 i will miss my best friend immensely but to know how loved she is and to feel the love from all of you has brought me a sense of peace. by @imanileah

September 20th, 2024 at 6:39 pm, I welcomed an 8lb 15.2 oz beautiful baby girl. From the moment God blessed me with you, my life has been completely changed for the better. Being your mommy has been the best blessing of my life. Watching you grow, learn, and be curious about new things is my favorite part of everyday. While I thought I was supposed to teach you, Selah you have taught mommy so much. You’ve taught me to slow down & be patient. You’ve taught me to be bold. Loving you is a love I’ve never experienced before, it’s something I can’t put into words.

Selah know that mommy will do absolutely anything to keep that smile on your face. You’re my best friend, my shopping partner, my cuddle bug, my spoiled baby, my silly goose and my favorite person. I didn’t know how much i needed you but God knew. I thank God for you each and every day.

You are a little ball of love, laughter, and everything I never even knew I needed I pray you know how much I love you. I gave you life, but you gave me purpose. I thank God I get to be your mommy.
