An excerpt from “Lovers Gone Mad,” featured in my poetry book, “The Aftermath of Our Wounds.”

💫 This poem was inspired by the masterpiece My Sweet and Tender Beast by Eugen Doga! I listened to the music on repeat as I wrote the poem. 💫

What did you have to give up to become the writer you are? ✍️

Rachel dives into this question (and a whole lot more) in our latest interview. She talks about writing, self-worth, and what happens when you’re much better at understanding other people than giving yourself the same grace. 🤔

It gets honest and personal, in a good way!

Put your kettle on! 🫖 Let’s have English tea, French macarons, and talk about our favorite books! 📚

This month’s book is A Court of Thorns and Roses! 🌹

Have you read it? Is it on your TBR? Or is it just not your thing?

I only recently got into romantasy, and when I read this one, I flew through the pages. I had no idea how! I went back and tried to figure out what the author did to make me devour it so quickly, but… no luck!

Anyway, I totally understand why people find this series so addictive!

What do you think of it? 👀

Hope you’re enjoying your macarons! 💙
.
.
P.S. If you want your favorite book featured, DM me the title, and I’ll feature it in one of the upcoming months!

I had the honor of interviewing three wonderful writers this month through my series, The Heart Behind the Book, which explores the inner worlds of writers and the ways their writing journeys have shaped them. 🩷📚

Here are a few glimpses from these conversations. ✨

What if your characters started telling you things you weren’t quite ready to hear?

Kourtney knows a little something about that. And yes, there may or may not be a ghost involved. 👻

There’s a lot more to “just taking a photo” than it looks. Seemed like a good use of my morning! 🤪

Dear diary… here are some things I’m learning. Some things I’m unlearning. Some things I’m still very much figuring out.

So I thought I’d share some of that here.
