I found this photo months ago, and I’ve been trying to put together all the pieces…. Honestly, I still have few words lol still working thru the explanation. This is me in 1998 - mixing up a sweet potato pie, in the same bowl that I use to mix pies in today. I’m constantly being asked to tell my story. This past year alone, I’ve lived 3 different lives. Lmao. I’m at the beginning of something brand new. And I struggle because I’m not in it for a like, comment, applause, or view. I’m really living this! Full of Faith and full of Love. NOW IF YOU ASK ME TO TESTIFY?? 🙌🏾 Lol THIS is what I mean when I say God is in the Details!!! ✨ A couple years ago, I thought I was dying. I’ve been reincarnated. This is the most me that I’ve ever been. How can I begin to help you make sense of this?? It’s more of an understanding, a feeling. This is a different run. Trying to find the right words. But there are none. — This is love exemplified. This is faith in action. This is writing the vision and making it plain. This is consistency. This is my ancestors prayers actualized. This is moving fear out of the way, so that life can have more meaning. THIS. And yet, this is just the beginning.. When I created Willori, I knew it would be something bigger than just what my mind could envision. If I’m being honest, I’m not sure that within less than a year, I imagined that we’d be here. But God did. To anyone that has ever bought a pie, extended a word, a hug, or the tiniest shout of praise. THANK YOU!!! Thank you for seeing me. Thank you for seeing Willori.
