October 16, 2025 • FIRST USC POPULAR MUSIC SHOW / 20th BIRTHDAY !!!

i feel like the luckiest in the world to get to turn two decades old while getting to be at my dream school, studying my dreams, with the most incredible, selfless, loving, and hardworking people. im in constant awe of how God works & how His plans unfold. im so so happy, grateful, and extremely proud of my beautiful friends. thank you to my incredible family for allowing me to be here. to my loving bestfriends, old & new, for cheering me on. and to my incredible professors @abadguitar & professor mennell for their support. hi everyone!! AHHHH i am so grateful & excited to announce that i will be attending the UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA: THORNTON SCHOOL OF MUSIC!!! majoring in POPULAR MUSIC with an emphasis in SONGWRITING!!! class of 2029!!!!

this past year has been one of so much discovery. discovery of who i am, discovery of who i want to be, and discovery of my goals for my future. while working towards my degree doing a hybrid college program, i have been able to take a step back, sit, and relearn how to become a better student. a better musician. a better brother. a better son. a better friend. and prioritize my mental health.

throughout this process, leaning on God, my family, my mentors, and friends has shown me the true power of trusting the process, and taking every step to achieve my dreams. this college process has had every sharp turn, every pothole, every speed up and slow down possible, but i am just eternally grateful for every person who has touched my life, reminding me that i could accomplish whatever i put my mind on.

i am so grateful to my incredible parents and family for believing in me. letting me sing at the top of my lungs at 1 am. letting me skip family dinners to turn in last minute essays. speaking words of encouragement into my journey, and loving me. i owe everything to you. you’re USC parents now hehehe!!

i want to say thank you a million times to a once in a lifetime, incredible mentor & teacher, @natashajpasternak . thank you for pouring into me, showing me that hard work, respect, and passion will get you where you need to go. thank you for seeing me for me, and showing me kindness and love, changing my life forever. thank you for bringing me into the @ocsapopularmusic family, showing me that dreams can be reality.

i also want to say thank you to @chris.sampson.9 for creating such an incredible program. thank you for showing me my options for this college process and for pouring your love and wisdom into me.

so, everything about the days spent at academy exceeded every expectation ive ever had. getting to explore music, my most favorite thing in the world, in a new beautiful way with new beautiful people was truly one of the most special times of my life. love and passion radiates from each and every soul i got the chance to get to know, didn’t get to know, watch, hear, smile at, stand next to in the lunch line, or sing with. thank you to @avi_kaplan @rdietz55 @thebenbram for creating a program that is so full of joy and love for music and one another… a place where you can truly be whoever you want to be. thank you to the incredible staff and faculty for your outpour of love. yall’s passion inspires me, and I’m so fortunate to have gotten to be a part of this. to my lifechanging, incredible directors @theonlyshamsyouknow @quinndandrea , thank you for hearing me. thank you for arranging, directing, and leading this beautiful story of triumph that is so important to me and so many others. i feel like i was a part of something truly groundbreaking. a celebration of all walks of life. I felt my story and so many stories be portrayed in this beautiful set. i am forever grateful. to my group MIDNIGHT, my family, thank you from beyonce to brandi carlile. thank you for showing me true friendship and love. thank you for always being the shoulders i could lean on. each and everyone of you holds such a special place in my heart, and i miss your voices daily. to all of my amazing friends, i love you so much. academy and your friendships came at just the right time in my life. im so so grateful.

y2k takeover.
my final popular music main show.
i feel there isn’t a word in the dictionary that can truly describe what i am feeling. it’s a mix between happy sad thankful joyful loved content proud hopeful and a million others. all my life ive searched for a place where i felt like i belong. being apart of the popular conservatory has given me that. although getting to do this final performance was astronomically impactful to me, it doesn’t come close to feeling of true love and celebration i have felt from every single person a part of this conservatory. each and every one of you has touched my heart in more ways than you will ever know. my heart is overflowing for each and every beautiful soul. thank you to my amazing teachers and mentors @natashajpasternak @jesselisemusic @mslaurenchanel @jakejacobsdrums and so many more for your overwhelming support and guidance. you have transformed my life and pushed me to peaks i never thought I was capable of reaching. to my incredible conservatory, I dedicate everything I do to each and every one of you. you push me to be better. you are all the brightest stars. to my seniors, i love yall more than words can describe. I will never be able to thank you enough for taking me in last year and building me back up again. yall are all so special and i thank god for you daily. lastly, to my parents, thank you for moving across the country so I can live my dreams. gala ‘24 - second and last.

my heart is overwhelmed with gratitude and love for every person a part of this show and event. it still baffles me daily that i have truly found a place where i am loved and wanted, fully. it’s rare to find people that you feel supported by 100% and i found my people through montage/ocsa. i am overflowing with love for all of these beautiful faces. i feel so honored to get to do this with yall everyday. @melissawackerman @jacobpiattoni @cindydolan gavinngrace , thank you for letting me into this beautiful family. another huge thank you to everyone who came to gala. your love and words mean more to me than you will ever know. lastly, to @ssophieruss , you ate, let’s be “on broadway” for real sometime. ❤️ soooo on to our next adventure, bestfriends. love you! by @imasherhinton

such a crazy song that was a dream to sing. i remember first hearing steven tyler sing it on american idol when i was 10 years old and just being infatuated by his stage presence. when i found out the song was an option, i was like.. yes. || i just want to say a huge thank you to my incredible band- eli, frank, chase, frankie, hp, jett, king hank, and the incredible string players for helping me bring this song to life. i love yall and im in awe of your talent and work ethic. || lastly just a huge thank you to my incredible conservatory director, @natashajpasternak for paving the way, allowing anyone no matter who they are or where they come from, to live their dream. thank you for all of your guidance, love, and trust. i am so so grateful. also, a thank you to my incredible teachers @brandonkrivera , @jakejacobsdrums , ms. lipman , and mrs real for all your guidance on this song and show. love yall greatly. || congratulations to everyone!! if it was your first show, or one of your last, you killed it. ive never been more proud to be apart of the popular music conservatory. ❤️ taken in Margaret A Webb Theatre by @imasherhinton
