Wow, what a weekend! We missed being out connecting with boys & girls so much. We finally went out (with our PPE gear) but I was very nervous.
.
We decided to go to our first event since the pandemic. Angel Joi had a performance and it was the perfect time to help get children excited about school. Most of the children we spoke with are doing virtual learning or home school, but they still need to be encouraged. The only reason we can continue to give back is because of YOU! We receive random sponsors weekly, people utilize the option to “donate a book” on our website. Plus, a portion of every order filled goes towards our mission of serving children in underrepresented communities.
.
We donated 10 copies of the hit award-winning “My HBCU Life” children’s book showcasing the Black College Experience. I captured a quick pic of mini CEO Angel with her graduate cape and mask on at the school bus. Notice the note on the bumper. Back to school! 😩😷
.
We didn’t get a ton of pictures like we normally do, but we have ever-lasting memories. I’m happy that we went out for a great cause. Tell a friend about this amazing book and the necessary work we do in underrepresented communities. Stay safe. Link in bio @iMatterCreations #MyHBCULife

We are so thankful for our ancestors strength and courage. Now, we strive for more action to be even more FREE! No child left behind❗️ This is why it is so important for mini CEO Angel to be a well-rounded child. Swipe 👈🏽 because we are also celebrating a straight A student for the second year in a row. #beautyandbrains A dangerous combination.

Even Siri (a robot) knows that Black Lives Matter.

It’s horrible that property & businesses are being destroyed, but killing innocent black men has to stop! This is my narrative, my story, OUR story & I won’t let you tell it your way. #iMatterCreations #MyHBCULife
.
Listen closely, there is a reason we included certain things inside of this book. There is significance of 1954 Brown vs. Board of Education inside of “My HBCU Life” children’s book. We want our children to learn (at an early age) about the black college experience, racism, history and more in a unique way. This virtual reading session was AMAZING. ~Mini CEO Angel & Michelle 🖤 ~iMatterCreations #blackbabybooks ——————————————-.

I hope you are staying safe and finding ways to enjoy #selfquarantine 😷 (or mandated quarantine time) depending on what state you are in! It is the perfect time to reread some books and discuss different topics within that book! Thank you #thelisteningtree for selecting and reading #MyHBCULife during your reading session. @iMatterCreations 📚🖤

School is out, but that didn’t stop Mini CEO from using an extended weekend to continue to motivate the youth! The Angel’s Adventures hit #MyHBCULife children’s book made an appearance at the the Black History show. All of our friends, family and HBCU supporters would’ve been proud!
