goodbye 20 something’s. thank you for not killing me! but now that I think about it maybe you did? looking back at the girl I was coming into my 20th birthday, blacked out, crying at a surprise party, with bloody knees from drunkenly falling onto the concrete, I feel like a different person. on day one of my 30s I woke up at 5am, had some coffee, tidied my house, woke my baby up; things 20 year old me would have still been asleep for (literally used to sleep until like 2pm hello?!) but that’s just my normal now. And it feels good. I think like when people turn 30 they automatically start dumping on their 20s and claiming how awful they were, but idk my 20s were pretty great. I’m so proud of the work I put in, the hours I spent learning this thing called life, the falls & bruises, the tears, the celebrations, the failures, the successes. I’m proud of it all.This past decade has been one long proof of concept. can I? yes. how? not sure yet but I always figure it out. This next decade? I’m on a different type of go.
